In 1978, Manfred Nutz founded Nutz Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG in a small garage in Aschau am Inn with the goal of improving security through alarm systems. What started small has evolved over more than four decades into a Europe-wide specialist for sustainable, integrated building technology.
By 2026, Nutz Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG employs over 400 people, generates annual revenue of approximately €60 million, and offers a strong portfolio of integrated solutions in electrical engineering, security technology, data technology, and building automation.
A key milestone was the onboarding of Christian Gruber as the first apprentice in 1984. Since joining the management team in 1994, he has helped shape the company into the brand it is today, together with Manfred Nutz.
Milestones such as the first major project (1987), expansion into Eastern Germany, and the move to the new company headquarters in Ampfing (2019) mark the company’s growth journey. Today, Nutz Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG operates in Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
